Chinese martial arts miss Olympics
Reuters yesterday said the International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge, the IOC Executive Board in mid-August of this year will be a meeting in Berlin in the evaluation of seven projects, and then recommend one of the two projects into the 2016 annual slate of new projects, list of candidates. The seven projects are: dog, golf, karate, rugby sevens, roller skating, softball and squash.
Rogge explained that the move was in order before the final vote by the International Olympic Committee some guidance on these items by observations. In October of this year’s plenary session, held in Copenhagen, the International Olympic Committee will ultimately vote on these two projects can enter the 2016 Olympic Games.
The seven projects, softball and baseball last year’s Olympic Games in Beijing just completed a “curtain call performance.” Because in the plenary session in Singapore in 2005, these two projects because of failure to obtain the necessary majority of votes, be excluded from the outside of the London Olympic Games.
